Notice to all PGA ACE Portal Users 06/08/2010 It has been brought to our attention that the ACE Helpdesk (Technical Support Center [TSC] 1-800-927-8729M) is having difficulty in identifying PGA users in order to reset their ACE passwords. The TSC staff is currently unable to display or locate valid PGA users in the ACE system user registry known as ITIM.

ACE A2.3.1a Test Federal Register Notice on AD/CVD Entry Processing and Case Management (pdf - 64 KB.) 12/31/2009 CBP has announced the deployment for the NCAP test concerning Entry Summary, Accounts, and Revenue (ESAR III) capabilities. This latest ACE release will provide new Portal and EDI capabilities specific to the filing and processing of AD/CVD entries (also known as type 03 entries) and AD/CVD Case Management as well as other enhancements.

The report contains recommendations on ways to provide government agencies with more specific product classification information via ACE to make fast and accurate decisions about cargo admissibility at U.S. borders.

National Marine Fisheries Service Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for ACE and ITDS (pdf - 52 KB.) 05/12/2009 On May 8, 2009 the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) published an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) and request for comments in the Federal Register notifying the trade that NMFS intends to collect import/export information through ITDS and ACE. Among other things, the ANPRM includes a paragraph on how NMFS use of the ACE Portal has improved their operations and sets the stage for NMFS to collect identifiers such as DUNS numbers and product codes.

What is ITDS? The ITDS program supports the Participating Government Agencies (PGAs) contributing to the development of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE). The ITDS program assists these agencies in identifying, documenting, and executing their plan to leverage ACE to improve business operations and further agency missions.

What is ACE? ACE automates and consolidates border processing and is the centralized access point that connects CBP, the trade community, and other government agencies.
